THE REALITY:

You’ve built a freelance business you’re proud of.

You’ve got the skills, you’ve worked with real clients, you’ve delivered good results, you’ve probably had months that surprised you in the best way (...do i need to continue?) but still something feels a lil fragile.

You finish a project and immediately start thinking about the next one. You have a strong income month and instead of celebrating, you feel pressure to maintain it. You land a new client and cross your fingers it turns into something ongoing, but you’re never quite sure how to make that happen without overstepping.

You’re not struggling to get started but you're struggling to feel secure.

The Empowered Freelancer Summit is a free 5-day event designed to help you move from project-to-project work into long-term client relationships that actually last, without chasing harder or burning yourself out.

  • Sending more pitches when work dips
  • Raising your rates and hoping that changes things
  • Posting consistently to stay visible
  • Taking on shorter projects to avoid income gaps
  • Saying yes to work that isn’t quite aligned
  • Rewriting your services page again

But instead of real stability, you’re still seeing…
  • Income that rises and falls unpredictably
  • Projects that wrap up just as they feel comfortable
  • Retainers that end without warning
  • A business that feels reactive rather than intentional

No matter how capable you are, it can start to feel like you’re rebuilding your income over and over again.

And because you’re ambitious, you’ve tried…

We're in a different freelance landscape now. Clients are more cautious and budgets are shifting and competition is louder. And short-term, task-based work has become the default structure for most freelancers.

The problem isn't your talent (trust me!!), it’s the way most freelance businesses are built.

And if your business is built on short-term cycles, it'll always require constant effort to maintain.

It’s time to redesign how your freelance business works, so that the effort you put in today supports you next quarter, next year, and beyond.

Does that mean more clients, more offers, more platforms? Nope. It means being more intentional about the clients you keep, the way you position yourself, and how you structure your work.

It's a problem of structure, not hustle.

Move beyond one-off projects by building retainers, owned audiences and income streams that compound over time, so your business supports you long after the next invoice is paid.

Retainers & Recurring Revenue

Structure ongoing work properly, price confidently and design offers that protect your time, energy and long-term earning capacity.

Sustainable Business Design

Understand why unstable income patterns persist even when you’re talented, and learn how referrals, smarter pitching and industry positioning create more consistent work.

Escape Feast-or-Famine

Attract higher-quality clients through authority positioning, social proof and intentional content that leads to paid work, not just engagement.

Strategic Visibility

Identify the structural habits behind feast-or-famine income and reset how your freelance business actually works.

The Stability Reset

this is what i want

  • You’re not constantly recalculating.
  • You know which clients you’re working with next month, and the month after that, and you’re not allllways bracing yourself for things to end.
  • You’re seen as someone who holds strategic weight, not just someone who completes tasks.
  • You have ongoing work that feels mutual rather than fragile.
  • You can plan your finances without factoring in worst-case scenarios.
  • You take time off without feeling like your entire pipeline is going to collapse.
  • You don’t need to pitch every time something finishes because the right clients stay.
  • You don’t feel like your income depends entirely on how hard you push this week.
  • You’re not chasing visibility for the sake of it, or saying yes because you’re worried about a gap.
  • You’re building something that compounds.

But imagine building a freelance business where:

Want lifetime access?

Hi, I’m Georgie!

I’m a freelance travel writer and business strategy coach, and over the past few years I’ve built a six-figure freelance business that allows me to work three days a week, travel the world and design my schedule around my actual life rather than the other way around.

That didn’t happen because I pitched constantly.
It happened because I stopped building my business around short-term projects and started prioritising longer-term client relationships.

Early on, I thought growth meant VOLUME: more clients, more invoices, more opportunities, the list continues.

And while that approach did increase my income, it also increased my stress. Every finished project required another beginning. Every good month felt like something I had to defend.

The shift came when I started restructuring how I worked.
I focused on ongoing contracts. I positioned myself differently. I stopped seeing myself as someone who delivered tasks and started acting like someone who held strategic value. I paid attention to how my retainers were scoped, how my communication worked, and how my services were framed.

Gradually, my business stopped feeling like a series of sprints and started feeling steady. That’s what this summit is about.

I created The Empowered Freelancer Summit because I see so many talented freelancers doing everything “right” and still feeling unsettled. I know you're capable, driven, and hardworking, but your business structure is keeping you in a constant cycle of replacement.

You don’t need to work more, you just need your work to last longer.

Join me and 20+ experienced freelancers for a week that will change how you think about your business :)
I would love to see you there!

Meet your host

That’s completely fine. The sessions are pre-recorded and released on a daily schedule, so you can watch them at a time that suits you. Your free ticket includes limited replay access during summit week. If you know you’d prefer longer access so you can implement slowly and revisit the material, you’ll have the option to upgrade to the All-Access Pass after registering.

What if I can’t attend everything live?

The Empowered Freelancer Summit runs from April 20 - 24, 2026. Sessions will be released daily, and you’ll have limited-time access (48 hours) to watch each one with your free ticket. You can join from anywhere in the world, and because most of the content is pre-recorded, you won’t need to block out your entire week to attend. You can fit it around your existing client work.

When is it happening?

If you’ve been freelancing for at least a year, you’re already working with clients, and you want more stability than you currently have, this summit is for you. You don’t need to be earning six figures or to have everything figured out (that's why you're here). But you do need to be past the very beginning stage. The conversations we’re having are about restructuring, refining and strengthening what already exists, not building from absolute scratch.

How do I know whether this summit is right for me?

Frequently Asked Questions

If something’s on your mind and it hasn’t been answered here, you can always send an email to hello@thefreedomroute.com and we’ll help. And if you’re hovering because you’re unsure whether this is the right time, I’d say this: You don’t need to wait until things fall apart to build something more stable :)

I still have a question.

No. When you register, you’ll be added to my email list so I can send you the daily session links and summit updates. You’ll continue to hear from me after the event, and you can unsubscribe at any time if it’s not for you. Speakers may offer optional free resources during their sessions, and if you choose to sign up for those individually, that’s entirely up to you. Your details won’t be shared automatically.

Will all the speakers get my email address?

The teaching sessions are pre-recorded so that speakers can deliver high-quality, focused content without tech stress or time pressure. There will be some live elements throughout the week (including optional community sessions and reflections) but nothing is mandatory. You can engage as much or as little as you’d like.

Are the sessions live?

If you’re ready to stop rebuilding your income from scratch every few months and start designing something steadier, this is your invitation.

The Empowered Freelancer Summit is five focused days of practical workshops, thoughtful conversations and real-world strategy from freelancers who have made the shift to long-term stability.

Join us, connect inside the Slack community and start reshaping how your freelance business works in 2026. Your free ticket is waiting!
